This print is a tribute to Ernest Shackleton, a polar explorer who was trapped in the ice of Antarctica for two years with his crew on the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1914-1917). The ship (Endurance) eventually sank but everyone managed to reach the continent safely.
